HIGHTEX 2010

TANATEX Chemicals and its Turkish distributor SPOT A.Ş. were exhibitors at this year’s HIGHTEX 2010 Technical Textiles & Nonwoven and Weaving Technologies trade fair. It took place for the first time between 15-18th of May in Istanbul, Turkey.

In Turkey, being one of the worlds’ most important textile industry centers, the technical textiles market has started to develop in the recent years thanks to the development of high value added products. Aiming to start smart textile production as well, Research, Development and Production investments have increased recently in this country.

Strategically, TANATEX Chemicals has been making investments in its high-tech product portfolio over the last decade, which has already started to pay off, in spite of these troubled economical times. For the duration of the exhibition, the booth welcomed visitors from all over the world, interested in technical textile applications such as nonwovens, sports, protective, medical, industrial and military textiles. Visitors paid special attention to the EULAN^® Insect Proof concept, EDOLAN^® Breathable, BAYGARD^® Easy Clean and BAYPROTECT^® NANO-POLLEN. This technical textile trade fair was efficient and productive for both parties; new customer relations are formed and new projects started.
